AD Dungeons and Dragons Part 1

As I mentioned before, I'm currently in two D&D groups. The AD group meets monthly and is also playing Curse of Strahd, so there's going to be some overlap especially with the first few posts as the adventure begins in the same place (although it's said to be a sandbox-style adventure later on, so I'll be interested to see how things differ between the two groups). This group also started several months ago, and as we only meet once a month my memory is a bit more hazy on the early days of our adventures than it is with the GC group.

Outside the castle, Marth talks with Cain, who delivers Marth's father's last words “Tell my son that I leave the future of Altea and our continent in his hands. He must rise now where I have fallen. As Falchion's rightful heir, he has been born into greatness... Now, he must be great.” The Gra traitors took the divine blade Falchion from Marth's father, and then gave no quarter to the remaining soldiers.

GC Dungeons and Dragons Intro and Part 1

I've realized this blog is also a good place to post about my ongoing Dungeons and Dragons adventures. I currently have two groups; one that meets weekly at a local game store (I will refer to this as the GC group) and one that meets monthly at a friend's house (I will refer to this second group as the AD group). Both groups are currently playing Curse of Strahd, which is interesting.

This is the first post in my play through of Fire Emblem: The Shadow Dragon. This is my first time trying to write about my experience playing a game like this, and as the game is on the DS I haven't worked out if/how I might include screenshots yet, so there aren't any pictures yet.

Hello, and welcome to my new blog!

If you are reading this, odds are I know you already. But in case I don't, I am Almaeron, and this is my blog. I'm an Alaska-raised man living in Southern California, and I wanted to have a way to connect with friends of mine in distant places, so I decided to start a blog. Mostly what I'm planning to post at this point is video game playthroughs (inspired by my friend Coldrun) but also possibly some posts on my various D&D adventures, and sometimes more personal thoughts and opinions.
