In our last session, Balasar faced the guard captain's "justice" despite Talna's attempted interference, and Elle had started trying to bring some good vibes back to our names by paying back the inn Balasar had stolen from. We started getting a sense of how Vloki was held together. And we were unsure where to go next in our quest to defeat Strahd and return to our own world.
The group retires to the two rooms Elle's generosity had bought us in the Bluewater Inn and tries to get some rest after an exhausting day. All of us sleep well, except Talna. She goes through her normal routine and settles in to her meditative trance, but finds her mind troubled.
Was it just a dream? And how did she dream? As an elf, Talna does not need sleep the way lesser mortals do, and normally meditates in a trance-like state to refresh herself. The mere fact that this vision interrupted her routine is disturbing to her.TALNA After your normal preparation you start to meditate. You think of all the possible ways of escaping this place till your thoughts drift away into the depths and the trance takes you. After a while you can see your home. Everything is just like you imagine before that fateful day. You hear a loud bang echo in the distance, and you turn to see what's happening, but your eyes are met only with a darkness swiftly approaching like a cloud, filling all before you until it has consumed your home and leaves you in the nothingness. You feel a presence drawing closer to you. You can't make out much save an elegant outline. Two eyes now glowing with a deep yellow hue stare at you. You hear a soft whisper "We are one and the same" as 6 more eyes open and the creature lunges at you. You snap out of your trance finding it hard to relax for the rest of the night.
From the Journal of Sadun Dorgona: This land is getting to us. I don't know what it is, but there is a feeling of disquiet, as though something or someone were trying to sap our very souls away. I remember where we came from, I remember Faerun and sunlight and Daggerford... but I find my memories getting fuzzy. We came here... with other people? There was a man, a warlock, he was the founder and leader of the Grayflow River mercenaries. What happened to him? It is as though he were with us, and then he was gone. And now I cannot even remember his name. And the sun. It is constantly overcast, and while it gets brighter in the daylight, there is no sun. It is getting to me. What is this place?
----------------------------------
In the morning, the group gathers downstairs. Irwin the barkeeper waves us all over to some tables set up with plates of food. "Thanks to the generosity of your friend," he says, nodding to Elle, "breakfast is on the house. Please eat as much as you need."
Pleased at this turn of events, we pile our plates with the warm food presented to us, fresh baked barley bread and bowls of piping hot porridge, and even some smoked fish. We sat around the tables and tried to decide what to do next.
"What do we do next? Check out that creepy house we saw Balasar almost go into?" Jaro begins.
"Well, the festival is in two days, and I'd like to check it out," Elle says.
"We could get Balasar a new hand," Talna suggests, still feeling guilty at her inability to stop the guard captain from taking his pound of flesh.
"I want MY hand!" Balasar gripes.
"We don't have time to steal it back B," Talna says.
"Then I want a MACE hand! That would be good too."
"If we're just going to replace your hand with a weapon, we'll do Sadun's idea of strapping a spear to it," Talna says.
"A spear wouldn't look as stylish as a mace," Balasar replies.
As the group eats and talks, Talna and Elle notice a man sitting at a table in the corner of the communal area, trying to watch us surreptitiously. When he sees them looking in his direction he pretends to be eating.
Elle decides to be straightforward dealing with the situation. She picks up her plate of food, walks over to the man's table and sits down. Jaro, confused, follows suit. Talna and Sadun simultaneously cover their eyes with their palms.
Elle silently resumes eating her food across from the man, staring intently at the top of his head as she does so.
"Are you two friends?" Jaro asks.
The man looks up. "Can I help you?" he asks.
"Well, you were looking at us so I came over to look at you," Elle says in a reasonable tone of voice.
"I watch all strangers who come to this town," the man says somewhat defensively.
"What's your name then, stranger?" Elle asks.
"Does it matter?"
"Yes, it kind of does."
Balasar, out of hearing range but seeing Elle tense up shouts "Don't be rude to the lady man!"
Talna turns to Gilligan and whispers "Is he undead?" Gilligan turns to look at the man, focusing his divine senses, but shakes his head. Nothing is out of the ordinary.
"My name is Ernst," the man admits.
"Was that so hard? I am Elle," Elle says.
"And I am Jaro!" Jaro says joyfully.
Ernst nervously extends his hand, and Jaro grabs it and shakes it vigorously.
Pulling his hand back and massaging it subconsciously, Ernst says "I was sent to give you an invitation. Lady Wachter would like a word with you, and you are invited to brunch with her around 10:30 this morning. Her house is in the north end of town," and here he gives detailed directions to get there, then hands Elle a letter.
"Oh, you mean the monster house!" Jaro starts to say, as Elle quickly clamps her hand over his mouth, muffling the last few words.
"Uh, would you like some of these berries? I found them on our travels," Elle offers.
"No, thank you. I'm quite full already," Ernst says, looking at his untouched food. "Well, I must be off, that was my errand here," he adds, and then hurriedly leaves the tavern.
Elle picks up his untouched plate. "Is anybody here hungry?" She calls out to the room at large. Several patrons raise their hands, and Elle gives the plate to someone at random.
Elle and Jaro return to the tables the rest of the group is seated at.
"What was that about?" Talna asks, as they sit down.
"We were invited to brunch at Monster House," Elle says casually, opening the envelope and perusing the letter.
"Yeah, it's going to be exciting!" Jaro says happily.
"I heard a voice there before you found me the other night," Balasar mumbles, but nobody seems to hear him.
---------------------------------
The group finishes their food, and the head to Blinksy's toy shop. As we go in we surreptitiously check and see that the doll that looks like Irena is still on the shelf. Blinksy comes out, giving his standard greeting. "...And is no fun, is no Blinksy!" he concludes, and then takes us in andhis expression falls.
"Can you make a clamp or hand or something that can hold a weapon the would fit over this?" Talna asks, holding up Balasar's stump.
"What exactly do you want?"
"I either want a hand that can make rude gestures somehow, like maybe a winding middle finger? Or I want a mount to attach weapons to it," Balsar explains, with a wistful look in his eye.
Blinky considers the request. "I could do that I think, yes. It would take me maybe one month? And for this..." he looks us over, and does some quick calculations in his head, "I charge you maybe three hundred fifty gold pieces. Half now, half when complete."
"Done," Talna says, and pulls out a pouch containing the groups pooled resources. She counts out 175 cold coins from the bag for the downpayment, and we leave.
We proceed to the market areas, where Jaro, Talna and Elle proceed to sell off the loot they have been collecting in our adventures thus far. Much haggling ensues.
Highlights of the market trip: Gilligan tries to sell the dried frog on a stick he found in the basement of Death House as a festival item. Needless to say, the shopkeeper did not believe him. "I've seen a lot of festivals, and I've never seen dried frogs on a stick being waved at any of them."
Balasar asks if the shopkeeper has any whetstones. "Yes, I have two." "I'll buy both of them," Balasar says. "Those are two copper pieces each," the shopkeeper announces. As Balasar is handed the whetstones, Jaro says "Oh, I was going to buy one of those!" Balasar turns to Jaro, "I'll sell you one for three copper pieces."
We next go to a nearby blacksmith. Talna does most of our negotiating here as well, and quickly learns that the blacksmith is willing to sell to us at a slight discount. "I like anyone who can piss off Izek like that," he explains.
"Who is Izek?" Jaro asks.
"Oh, that's the captain of the guard here," Azog says.
"Yeah, he's a mean guy, so if you can get under his skin I'm willing to help you out a little," the blacksmith clarifies.
"He is a mean person," Jaro agrees. "We brought the bones back and Izek still chopped of Balasar's hand!"
"What bones are you talking about?" The blacksmith asks, confused.
Talna turns and slaps Jaro. Elle then hops up and slaps Jaro too. "Nevermind about that, it's not important," Talna says.
Talna and Elle place an order for studded leather armor to help Elle survive battle better, and Gilligan puts in a downpayment for a suit of plate armor, even though it will take awhile to complete.
-----------------------------------
Our business concluded, we head to the Wachter house. As we approach, we see the house is still as spooky as we remember it, its sagging eaves giving a distinct impression that the house hates what it has become. Jaro walks up and knocks on the front door.
"Ah, Lady Fiona is expecting you," says the elderly man who opens the door to us. "Please follow me."
The man leads s into a parlor, in which sit three richly upholstered couches surrounding and ornate table. A portrait of a smirking nobleman hangs over a blazing fireplace. The inside of this house appears much better kept than the outside.
An old woman enters the parlor from the side opposite us as the elderly man, presumably her butler or servant, exits.
"Welcome to my home. I am Fiona Wachter," she greets us.
"You invited us here?" Elle asks.
"I did."
"What can we help with? We are not cheap," Jaro says, his voice becoming very serious on the last sentence.
"Why did you invite us?" Elle asks, ignoring Jaro's interjection.
"I just wanted to talk with you and share some food," Fiona replies.
"Oh, no thanks," Jaro says, at the mention of food.
"Oh, food, yes please!" Elle says at the same time.
"Are there kids in your food?" Jaro asks, suspiciously.
"No? Why would there be?" Fiona replies.
"I only have one question," Balasar says, "What kind of wine do you have?"
"The same kind you stole," Fiona replies, raising her left hand pointedly.
We follow Fiona from the parlor into a well appointed dining room. As we enter, two men come down the staircase at the other end of the room.
"Will you be joining us?" Fiona asks the two men, as they walk through the room.
"No mother," one of them says, and the two leave. Elle, Jaro and Sadun recognize their faces as some we have seen at the Bluewater Inn. Elle and Jaro specifically recognize them as Nicholai and Karl Wachter, as pointed out to them by Irwin.
The dining table is set, and though the dishes are chipped and the silverware is tarnished, they are still elegant and obviously of expensive make. A large crystal chandelier hangs over the table, and the window at the back of the room looks out over a large estate.
"Why does it look so good in here but outside this house is so shabby?" Jaro asks, demonstrating that he belongs with us.
"Are you disrespecting me sir?" Fiona inquires, with an edge in her voice.
"Is it disrespectful? I'm not from around here," Jaro shoots back.
(At this point our group remembered we all speak languages in addition to common, and spent a few minutes working out who spoke Goblin, who spoke Giant, who spoke Dand who spoke Sylvan so we could speak around Fiona without being understood. An interesting game of telephone followed...)
Gilligan looks at Talna and Elle, and says in Goblin "Izek bought the doll," as Fiona and Jaro's discussion continues in Common.
"You were raised in a barn," Fiona says, offended at Jaro's tone.
"A forest, actually," Jaro retorts.
Fiona sighs, and looks at the rest of the group, trying to get back on track. "You have done things in this town that haven't been done before."
"Like, anger the city guard?" Talna asks.
"We killed some vampires," Sadun says.
"We stole some amazing wine," Balasar admits.
As we continue trying to decide what things we have done that Fiona could be referring to, food arrives, several trays of finger sandwiches and a large bottle of wine. Elle grabs the wine and pours herself a glass before Balasar is able to take the bottle for himself. Then she stacks a large pile of sandwiches on her plate and begins eating happily, as Balasar grabs the wine bottle and starts drinking. Azog and Gilligan follow Elle's example, and selects several sandwiches for themselves. Sadun and Talna take a sandwich each, but only eye the food warily, poking it occasionally. Jaro refuses even a plate.
"The Burgomaster has been here a long time," Fiona begins, as those of us who are eating eat.
"You think he's a vampire?" Azog asks, horror evident in his voice.
Fiona hesitates, startled by the question, but presses on without acknowledging it. "I would like to replace him. My family has been here a long time, and it is time we were afforded our due in shaping the future of this city. We deserve our chance to keep Vloki safe."
"What has your family done, exactly?" Elle asks around a sandwich.
"We have kept the town safe! But we receive no recognition, the burgomaster and his 'festivals' get all the glory."
"How have you kept the town safe?" Elle presses.
"That is a family secret, and I'm afraid I cannot impart it to you at this time," Fiona says.
"What is the burgomaster's name?" Gilligan asks, at the same time Jaro asks "Is it the bones?"
Talna kicks Jaro under the table and hisses "Bite your tongue Jaro!"
"The bones are not so secret," Fiona says with a knowing smile. "I have known about them for a long time. I have lived here for a long time," she adds.
Talna punches Jaro in the arm anyway.
"Are you a vampire?" Azog asks.
"Certainly not," Fiona replies.
Gilligan once again focuses his divine senses, but Fiona does not smell of the undead.
"We need to know how you protect this town before we help. You could be leading you astray," Jaro points out.
"Was Father Lucian leading you astray?" Fiona asks in return.
"I agree with Jaro on this one, we need to be able to trust you, and for that you need to trust us. Father Lucian trusted us," Talna explains.
Fiona sighs. "What do you need from me then?"
"We need to know how to defeat Izek and his demon arm!" Azog exclaims. Sadun bursts out laughing at this, covering her mouth with her arm and pretending to cough instead.
"We won't put our lives on the line with nothing in exchange," Jaro points out.
Fiona looks puzzled. "I haven't asked you to put your lives on the line," she says.
"Taking out the Burgomaster puts us in Izek's sights, he seems pretty loyal," Jaro says.
"You are already in Izek's sights," Fiona says.
Gilligan holds up a hand. "How do we get rid of the burgomaster?" he inquires.
"I didn't say you need to get rid of the burgomaster, you did," Fiona replies.
"Well, what do you mean by 'replace' then?" Gilligan presses.
"Would the town support you if we help?" Azog asks.
"I believe they would," Fiona replies to Azog, leaving Gilligan's question hanging in the air.
"You want us to start a rebellion?" Balasar asks. Sadun is unsure if he is intrigued, excited, or bored with the idea.
"Did you not already start one?" Fiona replies. "You fought Izek, and I heard about those 'voices' in the crowd when you did," she looks at Jaro at this.
"Why do you want to replace the burgomaster?" Elle asks.
"I am simply tired of the burgomaster and his evil ways," Fiona says.
"You could be worse than him for all we know," Gilligan says.
"All I ask is that when the time comes, you lend me your power," Fiona states.
"We need a reason to help you," Talna says, exasperated.
"If you don't want to help, you are free to go," Fiona sniffs.
"Fine, what's the signal if we agree to help?" Jaro asks, as Balasar gets up and wanders around the room, looking at the walls and doors. He looks bored, but is checking for anything unusual. He finds nothing of concern.
"You don't serve the vampire king, do you?" Azog asks, sounding a little horrified at the idea.
"I serve only myself."
"Why is the burgomaster bad for Vloki?" Talna asks again.
"He is short-tempered and a fool. His son Victor is a nuisance too, thinking he is entitled to everything he wants," Fiona gripes.
"But have they done anything bad to the town?" Elle asks.
"Well, Victor thinks too much of himself, but the real problem is the burgomaster himself. He tortures people who speak ill of his 'Festivals' you know."
"Torture seems bad," Jaro allows. "All right, what would you like us to do?"
"I may need your help dealing with Izek," Fiona says.
Talna turns to Elle and Gilligan, and in Goblin says "I don't get the sense she would betray us if we help her, at least."
"Oh, we should kill Izek and give Balasar that demon arm!" Azog exclaims excitedly. Fiona looks intrigued at the mention of the guard captain's demon arm.
Gilligan looks thoughtful. "I don't know, it does sound like the burgomaster is not doing the best for this place, but would you be an improvement?"
Talna agrees. "I don't want to support anyone who will turn out to be worse."
"I am all for following the law of course, but I admit the laws here seem... shady, to me," Gilligan says.
"And who do you think makes the laws here? It's the burgomaster," Fiona says, sounding victorious.
"But I only have your word for that," Gilligan says cautiously.
"I've been in prison here," Azog interjects, "I've heard rumors about this."
Talna has been silent for a few moments, following her own train of thought. She realizes that we seem to be the only non-humans in Vloki, and considering the commotion we've caused since coming here, it would be very easy for the populace to be lead into viewing us as monsters ourselves. The bodies hanging at the town gates are only of the wolves that plague the people here after all, but she had noticed Balasar's hand on a pike outside a guard house yesterday evening. Obviously, if they're displaying our body parts that way, the common perception of us is not that high.
Balasar sits back down, and speaks to Sadun in draconic. "Do you think she's Strahd's pawn?"
"I am concerned about that," Sadun admits, also speaking in draconic. "Whether she realizes it or not, disrupting the order here could play right into Strahd's hands..."
Talna finally makes a decision for the group. "Ok, we will take what you have told us into consideration, but we do not commit to helping you yet. We need to learn more of this place before we make such a big step."
"I understand," Fiona says. "You may leave now." And with that, her attention turns entirely away from us, as though she is switching us off.
The group stands to leave. Elle piles a few more sandwiches on her plate as we do, and sneaks the entire plate out with her. Balasar never lets go of the wine bottle as we leave. Talna, seeing this, places her head in her hands. Fiona observes all of this with a look of resignation.
Once outside, the group decides to split up. Azog goes to pick up his imitation Izek doll from Blinky, while Elle and Balasar go to the guard house where Balasar's hand is on display. Jaro wanders off into town, intent on surveying public opinion, while Talna takes Gilligan and Sadun back to the Bluewater Inn for a brief meeting.
---------------------------------------
At the guardhouse by the southwest gate to the city, Elle and Balasar look up at the row of spears planted in the ground. Most of them have the decaying remains of large wolf heads, but one of them has a very recognizable red scaled hand. Balasar walks up to the spear and reaches for his severed hand. As he does, a guard rushes out of the guardhouse.
"What are you..." the guard begins, then takes in Balasar's tall red scaled form and the stump of Balasar's left arm, and trails off. He stands there and watches helplessly as Balasar removes his hand reverently, and begins wrapping it in a cloth.
As he does, Balasar notices something. "Elle, why would he remove the nail on my index finger?"
"What? I don't know, why?"
"Because it's missing!"
---------------------------------------
Jaro begins asking several people questions about the political structure of Vloki.
"How do you feel about Fiona?" he asks the first person he meets. "Fiona Wachter? I don't know nothin' personal about her like, she keeps to herself. But I do know she would rather serve the devil than the burgomaster of this town."
"What do you think of the burgomaster?" Jaro asks the next person. "Uh, I don't know. He keeps Vloki safe, although when people ask questions they tend to end up in the stocks, or worse he takes them to his mansion and 'cleanses' them. But I shouldn't be talking about this too openly. Good day to you!"
"Have you heard about the burgomaster cleansing people?" Jaro asks a third person. "Well," and here the person whispers, "the burgomaster believes he can cleanse evil from people, but I don't know that there's any substance to that. All I know is sometimes people that speak against him are taken to his mansion, and I've never heard of them coming back out again." Jaro nods at this. "I'm obviously new in town," he says, "could you tell me where the burgomaster's house is so I can avoid it?" The townsperson obligingly points the direction of the Burgomaster's mansion, and then hurries off. Jaro continues on his way, thinking about what he has learned.
From the journal of Sadun Dorgona: Jaro is an interesting character. We met him in a place of extreme danger, and he has helped us quite a bit since then. He seems to have a strong sense of right and wrong, but they don't always align with what everyone else would say was right and wrong. At least he is vehemently opposed to murdering children, which is more than I can say for some of the people I know. It is hard to know if he is a force for chaos in our group, or a force for good. Nevertheless, he has fit himself in with us quickly, and I am always happy to have more friends in this strange land.
----------------------------------------
In the tavern, Talna asks Gilligan and Sadun "What did you think of Fiona?"
"I don't know," Sadun said. "She seemed to be in earnest, and if this helps the people of Vloki it would certainly help us achieve our destiny. Besides, helping others is the right thing to do, and therefore worth doing."
"On the other hand," Gilligan says, "Vloki already seems to be much safer compared to other places we've been like Barovia. I don't want to take an action that may seem like a good idea but actually make things worse here."
"I agree with that," Sadun says. "Maybe helping Lady Wachter will help the city, but maybe it will cause the kind of chaos our enemy seems to enjoy. We should be careful."
"I agree with both of you," Talna says. "I also have to tell you, I had a bad night. I had an odd vision during my trance, and it has very much unsettled me..."
From the journal of Sadun Dorgona: Gilligan may be the most sensible of our group. He joined the Greyflow River mercenaries shortly after I did, a strange armored goblin preaching about not taking people at face value and extending all the chance to be good people. But there is something about him that makes you like him, makes you root for him even as Balasar hazes him repeatedly. Of all of us, and I include myself in this, I think Gilligan has the best heart. I feel very strongly that following his lead will help me achieve the great destiny I just know is waiting for me. I am glad he is still with us here, because without him, we might just get lost in this... sunless waste.
---------------------------------------
Elle and Balasar wander through town, and end up back at the Bluewater Inn. Walking in, they head over to the bar where Irwin is working on cleaning up.
"Hey Irwin," Elle says. "Could you get my friend here a drink?" As Irwin hands Balasar a glass of wine, Elle continues in a lower voice: "What do you think of the burgomaster and his man Izek here?"
"Well," Irwin says in a low voice, "Izek is a scary man. He gets angry and violent easily, but you know that. I don't like having to call on him. As for the burgomaster himself, I have no problems. He may be a little overzealous at times, but I stay out of his way."
"Is he egotistical?" Elle prods.
"Well..." Irwin looks around nervously. "I don't want to say too much..."
"Ok, I understand," Elle nods. Balasar quickly finishes his wine, and the two walk back into the street.
--------------------------------------------
Gilligan, Talna and Sadun return to the Cathedral of St. Andral to check in on Ismarck and Irena, and find Ismarck preparing his traveling gear.
"Ah, friends, I had hoped to see you once more before I left. I must return to Barovia and assume my duties as the burgomaster there, but I wanted to thank you for bringing my sister here safely."
"I'm glad we caught you before you left," Talna says. "We wanted to pass on a warning. We were exploring this town, and found a toy shop. Inside the toy shop, the owner had made a customized doll for a special client, and that doll looks a lot like your sister. We have reason to believe it was Izek, the captain of the guard here who ordered it."
"What? Then my sister may still be in danger? How does this Izek know her? I must go have a word with him!"
"I don't think that's a good idea," Talna says. "Izek is not happy with us right now, and we don't want to cause any more trouble at the moment. Please, we'll sort this out. You paid us to keep your sister safe and we intend to honor that. We just wanted to give you the warning before you left. We will kill Izek if we have to."
Ismarck looks uncertain at the casual mention of murder, but then glances frustratedly around the room, but then sighs in defeat. "Very well, if there is nothing I can do to help the situation here, then I leave Irena in your hands. But please, don't tell her about this... doll. Not yet anyway."
"Very well. Safe travels."
Meanwhile, Gilligan seeks out Father Lucian, and asks him about the Wachters. "She's an older lady, she seems nice enough. Although she and her sons do not attend any services here..."
"What about the burgomaster, do you know anything about him?"
"Well, as you know his festivals are not the warding rituals he claims they are, but he keeps order in Vloki, and I am not in any position to ruffle feathers here."
"Have you heard that he tortures people?"
"There are always such rumors. Although," Father Lucian looks thoughtful, "I have seen strange purple lights shining from the attic windows in the burgomaster's mansion. I don't deal in magic though, so I could not tell you what that means."
"Has any of your churchgoers been... taken, by the burgomaster?"
"I don't know what you're referring to. He may not be the best man, but the Morning Lord teaches forgiveness, and I believe all of us are good. Some of us just stray from the righteous path. But we can all return to it if we choose."
"Would Fiona Wachter be better if she were in charge of this town than the burgomaster is?"
"I'm sorry my green friend, but that is much further speculation than I care to make."
Talna, arriving at the end of this conversation, speaks up: "We would value your opinion though."
"Well, the burgomaster could be better than he is, but then, can't we all?"
"And Lady Wachter?" Talna presses.
"She is secretive, and as I say, not in this church often. But then, neither is the burgomaster."
--------------------------------------
At Blinksy's toy shop, Azog excitedly asks for his Izek doll. "Yes, it is ready, here you are," Blinksy says, handing him a sack. Azog opens the bag, and takes out the doll. It does look vaguely like Izek, not the best representation, but one arm is different than the other. Azog also notices that the doll does not have Blinksy's usual slogan on it.
"Hey, this isn't what I asked for! It barely looks like him!" Azog says, angrily.
"Look, that man is trouble and I don't want any trouble!" Blinksy protests.
"This doll doesn't even have your slogan on it!" Azog continues.
Passing by outside, Elle and Balasar hear the commotion, and recognizing the half-orc's shouts, Elle runs inside. She takes in the situation, and calls out in orcish "Come on Azog, let's get going!"
"No, I want my doll!" Azog tells Elle in orcish.
"It's not worth is, we should just go!" Elle responds.
"Fine!" Azog says, but turns to Blinksy. In common he shouts "At least give me my money back, this is not what I requested!"
Blinksy, terrified of the two violent looking non-humans and their strange barking language, says "Fine, here!" and he throws money at Azog. "Just leave, please!"
Outside, Balasar and Elle try to calm the grumbling Azog when Jaro strolls up to them.
"Hey," Jaro greets them. "Let's go check out the burgomaster's mansion!"
-----------------------------------------
Next time! The burgomaster's mansion!
